Sydney's Water Stories is an online exhibition produced as a collaborative project between the City of Sydney's Archives and History teams to celebrate History Week 2025.
The History Week theme is 'Water Stories', and this exhibition explores the water stories of Sydney from the early days of British settlement to the present. There is a particular focus on the role played by the City of Sydney in ensuring that there is a clean, reliable and sufficient supply of water to meet the needs of it's citizens for drinking, cleaning, work and pleasure.
