Development and Building

This collection includes development and building applications and related records. It includes a variety of records including: 

• proposed and approved building plans
• reports such as statements of environmental effects
• certificates for construction or for complying development
• private certifier approved development applications
• Council approved development applications
• supporting documents.

Note: To view any available content of development and building files you need to be registered as a member and logged on. 

Only those records that have been transferred to the City Archives are available through this site (the most recent being about 2008). New items will be added over time.

Some of these files will contain digital content while others may be fully or partly paper-based. If paper-based files have been scanned, the scans are available for download. If there is no scan available but you would like a copy of paper content, take note of the unique ID and request City records. There are some copying charges.

The search on this page will only return items within this collection. It will search the title and descriptions of the records only.
