On the left hand side is number 216, with 'Shoes', 'Toys' and a real estate agent's 'Sold By' sign on the awning, and a sign announcing 'Demolition Sale' in the front window. In the centre is Clarence House at number 218 to 224, a nine storey brick warehouse building with a sandstone facade on two floors, constructed in 1908 in American Romanesque style, with signage for 'Bridal Wholesale Direct to Public' and real estate agent's 'Sold By' sign.
