A small stage is set up on the left hand side, with lighting and a sound system. Once part of George Adams' Tattersall's Hotel, it was designed in Victorian style with Italian Renaissance influences by architect Varney Parkes and built in 1891. When the hotel was demolished in 1969, the bar was dismantled, then reassembled in 1973 in the new Hilton Hotel.
