The building's two storey sandstone facade was erected in 1861 in restrained classicism of the Palladian style with pilasters and a decorated cornice. After later development only the facade remained and the base level was completely changed, with the building operating as the Arthouse Hotel bar and restaurant. On the ground floor are shops with signage for 'Adidas', 'Closing Down', 'Books' and 'Clearance Sale.'
