To the left, at number 140, the Salvation Army Congress Hall is under construction behind scaffolding. At 142 to 148 is the former Mark Foy's parking station, then operating as Hercules Motors. Built in 1913 in Federation Free Classical style in sandstone, brick and ceramic tile, it has the Mark Foy's insignia at the top. A branch of the main Mark Foy's store located opposite, it housed a garage and a carpet showroom. It was later incorporated into the Hyde Park Towers apartment building, which opened in 1995. A locksmith business is operating on the ground floor. To the right are the Mandolin Cinema and the Cyprus Hellene Club at number 150 to 152. In the foreground are traffic and parked vehicles.
