This is a seven storey building in Chicago style, with horizontal banding and pilasters in stucco. The Fays Company Clock reflects that it housed Fays Shoe store for many years. The Sydney Monorail track runs across the centre of the photograph. In the foreground are pedestrians, traffic and parked vehicles.
