The building date of 1908 is visible on the Pitt Street facade on the left, while the Goulburn Street facade is in Streamline Moderne style. On the ground floor is signage for Martin's Records, Chequers Health Centre, and a real estate agent. Chequers nightclub occupied the Goulburn Street building from the 1950s to the 1970s, and Maloney's Hotel later operated on the ground floor. In the background are Roden Cutler House at 24 Campbell Street on the left and 59 Goulburn Street on the right. In the foreground are pedestrians, traffic and parked vehicles.
