It was painted over two nights in August 1991 by Andrew Aiken and Juilee Pryor with the help of others, notably Tony Spanos who provided the cherry picker crane used on the second night. This picture shows how the mural and open space have become a natural meeting place for people in and around Newtown, after plants in a garden bed at the base of the mural were cleared away by Marrickville Council.
