Waterfront Park is part of the wider Jacksons Landing residential and commercial property development on the northern tip of the Pyrmont peninsula. This 11 hectare area was previously used by the Colonial Sugar Refinery (CSR), and was bought by Lend Lease in the 1990s, who named it Jacksons Landing. In the background of the image, to the left, is the western pylon of the Anzac Bridge, which opened in 1995. In the background of the image, to the right, are the Glebe Island Silos, which were painted to look like Grecian columns prior to the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
