Built in 1901 by the Colonial Sugar Refinery (CSR), the Cooperage factory manufactured wooden barrels for the storage and transport of industrial alcohol, rum, and liquid, until the middle of the 20th century. It was repurposed as office space in 2005 and falls within the wider Jacksons Landing residential and commercial property development on the northern tip of the Pyrmont peninsula.
