Across the square on the corner of Loftus and Alfred Streets is a McDonalds outlet in what was originally the Paragon Hotel. The glass building behind that is the Gateway (AXA) Building and past that is Goldfields House at No 1 Alfred Street. Beyond that again is the ANA Hotel on Cumberland Street.
