Letter: Spain & Salwey 6&8 Exchange, for Edward Crocker re serious flood damage to his Chambers St property due to defects in City Council's sewer and drain construction which lead to Wentworth Park and attested to by competent inspectors, advising that if adequate compensation and immediate attention to the sewering does not occur, legal proceedings will commence. (Note: 14/6/82 ackd. Mr Lee ?... & report. This is a similar case to that referred to by Mr Law & relates to the flooding of premises near Blackwattle ?Crk during the rain storms of April & May last: ACM; 21/6/82)
