Letter. P A Temple, Council Clerk, East St Leonards Municipal Council. Asks for a drinking fountain to be erected on Milsons Point for the use of residents and visitors to the North Shore, now that the water mains are laid in the principal streets and there will be a large revenue derived from the North Shore districts by the City Council. There is a notation from J Trevor Jones the City Engineer, that, if the local council erect the fountain, it is customary for the Mayor to allow the water free.
