Description
On 17 March 1925, Council resolved "That in regard to reports dated 6th and 11th March 1925 by the City Architect, with regard to additions to the Town Hall, Block "A", the City Architect and Building Surveyor be instructed to forthwith proceed with the demolition of the buildings on the site by Council's employees, and the work of erection of the new buildings be proceeded with immediately." The plans in this series are of the new building that was erected. It was bounded by Druitt and Kent Streets and was built onto the Town Hall building. Most of the plans are linens, some are hand-coloured. Each of the plans was given a drawing number, from 1 to 145. Start Date qual: Start Date: 01/01/1925 End Date qual: End Date: 01/01/1930
