Entire streets full of houses were demolished, including Irving Street, and the land was absorbed into the brewery. This view shows a row of partially demolished terrace buildings on the southern side of Irving Street (45 Irving Street); another photograph of the same terrace was taken in 1913 (41 Irving Street). The City holds a glass plate negative and a contact print for this image. The print was in album donated to the State Library of NSW in 1983 and returned to the custody of the City in 2023. The photographs in this album were taken in circa 1911-13.
