The photographs were taken between 1958 and 2018 by John Ward.DescriptionThis series was acquired from John Ward in 2018. The collection consists of over 40,000 images, mainly of buses, but also trams, shipping, aircraft, cars, trucks and buildings. Images are taken within the wider Sydney basin and cover a 60 year period from 1958 to 2018. Only a selection of the images have been made available through the Archives & History Resources catalogue.

The collection also includes various transport timetables, bus tickets, a conductor’s case, badges, batons, a 13 metre long Eastern Suburbs tram roll and moving image files. It is one of the largest collections received by the City Archives.LanguageNo linguistic content - Not applicable (zxx)
