This collection was acquired from Percy ('Sam') James Bryant's family in 2016. The images in the collection provide a fascinating insight into life in and around the Sydney area during the 1930s and 1940s.
Bryant took up photography as a hobby and his photographs reflect his love for the City of Sydney and its harbour, his work wiring the Sydney Harbour Bridge, his passion for first grade football and sports and his fondness for his wife's family’s property south of Bathurst.
Further information about Percy James Bryant is available in his biographical profile.
