The Rabbitohs ended a 43 year premiership drought on Sunday 5 October 2014 when they defeated the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the Grand Final 30-6. The reception was the culmination of an open top bus parade through the South Sydney district and the City of Sydney.
