The first planting was done in 1994 and the tree planting was a way to give support to partners, friends and families who felt it was a way to keep their memories alive. Lovett and De Saxe are wearing SPAIDS T-shirts designed by Lovett. Future plantings were planned for Sunday 3 September and 12 November 1995.
