Kathy began as a Mardi Gras volunteer in 1989, and has since become a Board Member, Parade Production manager and Mardi Gras' Security Consultant and Risk Manager. In 1997 she was inaugurated into the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) Hall of Fame.
