Derrick is doing the splits pointing his ballet slippers. His arms are arched on the floor beneath him and his face has been painted, specifically with large circles surrounding the eyes that taper off into lines, overdrawn lips and three slashes on either side of his cheek. An audience behind him watches on. Derrick performed at the Stonewall Ball for multiple years.
