Soldiers in red coats stand with guns held high. One soldier is drumming and another is holding a gun toward a group of Aboriginal men. Behind the soldiers are men in civilian clothes in boats and on land. The Aboriginal men are watching holding shields and some hold spears. At the base of the mural are the words 'Coles Stores.' GJ Coles and Company Limited had frontages on three streets - Pitt, King and George Streets.
