The overall design of the mural is based on the Aboriginal land rights flag - black at the top, to represent the colour of the people, a yellow circle at the centre for the Australian sun, and red at the bottom for the land.

One of the nine Woolloomooloo History Murals that were attached to the pylons of the Eastern Suburbs Railway.

The mural was designed and painted by Merilyn Fairskye and Michiel Dolk.
