To view the video of the launch event see A-01211901 or use the Related Items link on the left hand side.DescriptionJerry Leonard, president of Woolloomooloo Residents Action Group (WRAG), who performed as MC for the opening launch event for the Woolloomooloo Murals at Tom Uren Square, introduces Joe Owens from the NSW Builders Labourers Federation. Trade unionist, Joe Owens, was important in the Builders Labourers Federation campaign to save Sydney's historic buildings and green space through Green Bans and he features in the BLF Green Bans mural (A-01209906) and the Victoria Street mural (A-01209910).

Sound and video were recorded separately at the launch, as was common with low budget 16mm film shoots at the time. The film itself, to be called Walls, was never finished. The creative team involved in the launch filming were: Producer, director, Beth McRae, of Iris Films; audio: Pat Fiske; camera: Erika Addis. Launch stills Photography: Sandy Edwards.
