Building 95, the workshop houses a foundry, pattern shop and other engineering functions. The heavy machinery shop has been in continued operation since last century. The central row of double cast iron columns supports the travelling crane system of secondary cast iron columns and roof trusses, the structure is notable. Building 88 is closely linked due to its location and architectural style to buildings 95 and 99. Building 95 contract let in April 1889 for 17,730 pounds. Based on Admiralty plans of 1790. Building 99 completed for the sum of 8,440 pounds. Building 88 also to admiralty plans, contract let to Parry & Farley 1889 for 5725 pounds.
