A very small number of the folders in this series relate to provision of historical advice (including policy advice) to various departments of the Council, for example about commemorative plaques and memorials. Most such records will be found on the corporate files for the various projects for which the advice was given.

Note that most folders contain research notes only and are not a comprehensive coverage of the subject listed on the folder.

Item numbers have been allocated using the authors' initials followed by a numerical sequence.
