The images are of Committee organised events and activities, including
-Floats in Australia’s March to Nationhood Pageant, during Australia’s Sesqui-Centenary Celebrations in 1938
-The re-enactment of the First Landing during Australia’s Sesqui-Centenary Celebrations in 1938
-Boats in the Water Pageant during Australia’s Sesqui-Centenary Celebrations in 1938
-Empire Games of 1938
-The Lady Game Beach Competition at Manly Oval

There are also group of photographs of Adelaide streets during a Floral Pageant, celebrating South Australia's Centenary, 1836 – 1936.

Photographers used by the Committee include S. J. Hood, Phil Ward and the Sun Feature Bureau. The photographer is usually identified on the back of individual photographs. Not all photographs identify the photographer.

The total number of images is 124. All have been digitised and are available through ArchivePix. All are black and white prints, in various sizes.
