The images were acquired as born digital photographs.

The series contains three acquisitions from 2012, 2021 and 2022. The first acquisition contains 1326 photographs, taken between 2003 and 2009, which capture daily life in the ‘villages’ of Sydney, including Kings Cross, Redfern, the Sydney Fish Market, Newtown and Glebe. They feature local residents, workers, shop owners, tourists and buskers as well as the streetscapes which give each area its particular character.

The second acquisition adds 50 photographs taken between 2004 and 2019 of people using the Glebe foreshore path and parks.

The third acquisition includes 28 photographs of watercraft in Blackwattle and Rozelle Bays. LanguageEnglish (eng)
