Letter from John Cropley & Sons advising additions to 736 George Street are nearing completion and forwarding plans and specifications for approval. Minute from Comptroller of Assets and Stores advising formal approval be given. Memo from City Building Surveyor advising that Mr Stevens called about roof over Cropley's shop. Town Clerk advises City Solicitor that any alteration to the terms of the approved lease as requested by Cropley's solicitor must be approved by Council first. Includes letter from Thomas J Dickson Solicitor regarding draft lease for consent. Copy letter from J Neale Breden advising that Town Clerk has proposed an extension of Mr Cropley's lease at an increased rental subject to expenditure on permanent improvements. Letter from P S Dawson City Solicitor sending amended draft lease and requesting Council consent. Letter from PS Daswon forwarding duly executed and stamped lease.
