Patricia Baillie - What To Wear In Glebe
This collection consists of 183 photographs taken by Patricia Baillie in 2003-2004. Baillie wanted to document the street fashion of the young people in her own neighbourhood of Glebe. All images were taken on or around Glebe Point Road. These street portraits record the imaginative dressing of the subjects, with their use of colour and sometimes wild hairstyles. Baillie believes they are their own works of art. Capturing the vibrancy of Glebe street life, the images show both the extraordinary and the ordinary and document one aspect of the social history of Glebe.
