By 1907 when this photograph was taken, a number of commercial tenants occupied the building, including a branch of the Bank of NSW. The photographic firm Ward and Farran’s ran the Exchange Studios on the upper level, but had moved out in 1903. The century-old warehouse was demolished in 1908.
