The two-storey building next door, at 125 Oxford Street, was occupied by Miss Bermingham, florist. The floristry business had been operated by Mary Black (nee Bermingham) and her brother Percy Bermingham from 1894. The shopfront was documented on 16 October 1918, just before the building underwent extensive renovations.
