Report of Accident: Michael Sweeney, 50, a labourer, was kicked on the chest by a horse, and was violently thrown on his left hip. Coroner’s Inquest: Fatal Street Accident. An inquest was held at the Coroner's Court, Chancery Square, on Tuesday afternoon relative to the death of the man Michael Sweeney, which took place in the Sydney Hospital on Tuesday morning. Deceased was 50 years of age, and has left a wife and two children. On the morning of June 18 deceased was engaged sweeping the wooden blocks in Regent-street when a van knocked him down. He was taken to the Sydney Hospital and admitted by Dr. M'Kay, and found to have sustained a fracture of the left leg, which combined with exhaustion was the cause of death.
