This collection contains a small selection of archives relating to the Intercolonial Exhibition Building at Prince Alfred Park.
The Intercolonial Exhibition Building was an ornate example of Victorian Baroque architecture and opened in 1870. The Exhibition Building was designed and built by the City Council to mark the centenary of Captain James Cook's landing in Botany Bay. It was demolished in 1954 to make way for a municipal ice skating rink and swimming pool.
