On the left is New South Wales Masonic Club located at numbers 169 to 173 Castlereagh Street. Beside this is the Angus and Son Building at 165 to 167 Castlereagh Street. This three-storey brick building was designed by architect Cyril Blacket for the carriage building business of Angus and Son. Signage for businesses include a Town Talk Shoes selling men's shoes, a gym (upstairs), Books Unlimited bookstore, and Coffee Lounge and Rink Bar, and Pink Panther Instant. The building was demolished circa 2014 for the construction of Liberty Place and ANZ Tower. On the right is Legion House at number 161 to 163 Castlereagh.
