An eight storey building in Victorian Mannerist style with patterned brick work and stucco mouldings, it was built in two stages between 1892 and 1914, to the design of architects Mansfield Brothers and Kent, Budden & Greenwell respectively, for John Keep & Sons as a warehouse. In the early 1980s it was one of the first warehouses to be adaptively converted to residential apartments. A plaque on the facade states it has been classified by the National Trust of Australia (NSW). To the right is the Savoy at 37 to 43 King Street.
