On the left hand side are General Pants Company at number 391 to 393, the entrance to Temperance Lane, and RM Williams at number 389. In the centre is Georges House, also known as Bernard's Building, at number 387. A twelve storey early skyscraper in Federation Free Style, it is brick and stone-clad on a steel frame, with a sign on the upper levels listing brands of electronics and camera equipment sold there.
