Formerly the Shelbourne Hotel and later returned to that name, the three storey commercial brick building was erected in 1902. It is of American Romanesque style decorated with patterned stucco and an elaborate parapet. In the background to the left is a building under construction at 1 Market Street with Multiplex signage and to the right is a Wilson parking station at 204 to 220 Sussex Street.
