On the left is the former Gresham Hotel at number 147 to 149, undergoing restoration behind builders' scaffolding and hoardings. In the centre is the former Eagley Warehouse, later QVB Chambers, at number 143 to 145. A late example of Federation warehouse style, this eight storey building was constructed in 1922 with a concrete frame and face brick and sandstone. On the ground floor is signage for Palings music store, and a For Lease sign for Baillieu Knight Frank real estate agents. On the right hand side is Taylor Family Warehouse at number 141.
