To the left is Sydney Trades Hall building located at number 4 to 10 Goulburn Street. Next to this is the Trades Hotel, that operated as the White Horse Hotel from 1933 to 1942. It is on the corner with an address of 12 to 14 Goulburn Street and 385 Sussex Street. The hotel closed about 2003 and subsequently housed a grocers.
