On the left is Hong's Garden Restaurant at number 35 to 37. In the centre is the Hoover Complex at number 27 to 33. Formerly the Salvation Army Citadel, the two storey rendered brick building has Ionic and Corinthian pilasters and a Belvedere tower with the date of construction - 1912 - embossed on it. On the right are a shop at number 23 to 25 and the Star Hotel at 387 George Street.
