On the left is the National Australia Bank (formerly Commercial Banking Company) at 329 to 331 Pitt Street and 98 to 100 Bathurst Street. In the centre is the Lincoln Building at 280 to 282 Pitt Street. A ten storey L-shaped building in Inter-war Commercial Palazzo style, it was built in 1924. The second floor windows have sandstone decorations. It was subsequently occupied by the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts. On the right is Speedwell House at 284 to 292 Pitt Street, built in 1908. The Sydney Monorail track runs across the centre of the photo at the second storey level.
