Built in 1901 in Federation Free classical style of red brick and render, the hotel displays signage for Tooheys, XXXX and Swan Premium beers. This hotel was later gutted for the building of the Century Tower, leaving only the facade. The Sydney Monorail track runs across the centre of the photograph.
