The awning has signage for Foster's Lager, and a painted sign has text 'Save Our Pub.' The two storey Art Deco style brick and tile hotel was subsequently delicensed and unoccupied for many years, before being refurbished circa 2018. This was done in conjunction with the adjacent Central Park development, on the site of the former Tooth & Co Ltd Kent Brewery in the background right. In the upper right background is the UTS Tower at 15 Broadway, Ultimo, part of the University of Technology Sydney.
