The five storey commercial building was built about 1900 with a balustraded parapet and small corner tower. It was later incorporated into the University of Technology, Sydney. In the rear at the left is the UTS Tower (Building 1) at 15 Broadway. On the right extending along Harris Street is UTS Building 4 at number 745. On the awning is signage for the publications New Idea, Sun-Herald, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, and Sydney Morning Herald. In the foreground are pedestrians, traffic and parked vehicles.
