The mural is a copy of a famous photograph of the Native American leader Geronimo. The Aboriginal flag on the sleeve of the figure is to tie the spirit of Geronimo in with the land rights activism of local Aboriginal people. The mural also declares the importance of South Newtown as a cultural space separate to that of North Newtown. This picture was taken just after the mural had been finished. Mural features cartoon character 'Felix the Cat' and (obscured) words 'Angels are dreaming of you.'
