It was painted over two nights in August 1991 by Andrew Aiken and Juilee Pryor with the help of others, notably Tony Spanos who provided the cherry picker crane used on the second night. This picture was taken some months after the original painting of the mural, when the artists added the Aboriginal Flag to its base as a response to continued graffiti attacks and postering, along with the words 'Don't poster here, show respect.' A small raised garden bed which was previously at the base of the mural had by this time been removed by Marrickville Council.
