Revenue and Expenditure Control Sub-Committee

Unique IDAG-0157DescriptionOn 13 October 1975, Council resolved to appoint five sub-committees of the Finance Committee. These were the Revenue and Expenditure Control Sub-Committee, the Industrial Relations Sub-Committee, the Woolloomooloo Redevelopment Sub-Committee, the Insurance Sub-Committee, and the Property Sub-Committee.

The Revenue and Expenditure Control Sub-Committee was responsible for supervising the income, expenditure, and operation of CA 12, City Treasury Department I, and parts of CA 3, Administration Department. The members of the Sub-Committee were the Lord Mayor Leo Port, the Deputy Lord Mayor Andrew Briger, and Aldermen Jeremy Bingham, Walter Pascoe, Barry Lewis, and Ross Bonthorne.
