The Company was located at 11 Regent Street, Sydney.
Kyle was active in the Liberal Party (and its predecessor the United Australia Party) from its foundation. At one time he was President of the Neutral Bay Branch. He later became a member of the Civic Reform Association.
He was an Alderman of the Tunks Ward of North Sydney Municipal Council from 1944 to 1956, and was Mayor for the 1949/1950 term. In 1951 he unsuccessfully campaigned to become a member of the Legislative Council.
While still an Alderman with North Sydney Council, he was elected an Alderman of the Phillip Ward of Sydney City Council. In 1953 and 1956 he campaigned on the Liberal Party ticket but thereafter campaigned as a member of the Civic Reform Association. He stayed an Alderman until 1967 when the Council was replaced with Commissioners. He ran for Council again in 1971 but was unsuccessful.
Kyle was also a member of the National Club and a Masonic Lodge. He was awarded an OBE in 1968 and died in April 1984.
